Awakening Nicholas by Lindsay Delaney
Meet Nicholas. Share his déjà vu awakening in palatial surroundings that are both unfamiliar and oddly routine. Strangers seem to know him, but how could they? The man with no memory soon meets his mentor, a gentle steward who guides Nicholas around his island paradise, showing him environmental treasures of unsurpassed natural beauty. Nicholas learns to appreciate the delicate balance between human beings and Planet Earth. In his quest to understand why he is on the island, Nicholas
encounters friends and enemies, discovering along the
way what it is to love—not only another person, but a
way of life. Travel with him through time. Decipher
mysteries from his past that reveal clues to his new
reality. Though he doesn’t know it, Nicholas is part of
a broader plan, a mission suitable for only those pure
of heart. Join Nicholas on this once-in-a-lifetime
roller-coaster adventure.
Lindsay Delaney, a native of Mobile, Alabama, lives on
the Mississippi Gulf Coast with her husband Lee.
Lindsay has enjoyed a successful career as an award winning television and print advertising professional.
She currently works as a consultant for Books Are
Fun, a Reader’s Digest company. A prolific short story
author, Lindsay often writes about familiar Southern
landmarks and settings. Her love of all things Southern
encompasses Louisiana Cajun cuisine, white sandy
beaches, and get-togethers with friends to boil
crawfish and crabs. And in the South, you don’t get
food without music. Lindsay fondly recalls her dad
making a huge pot of gumbo while listening to Pete
Fountain. She is now working on a sequel to
Awakening Nicholas, her first novel.
