What do we do?

Sadly but understandably, we realise the current wealth of literature lies in the supply chain and not with the author. Our business shares that true abundance of prosperity within this co-operative.

We always have openings for writers who produce great literature and can sell their own books, through our website. At the moment, we sell in over 10 countries to anyone who will buy our books. That includes individuals, a number of bookstores, universities and libraries.

Some people struggle with the concept of Turner Maxwell Books. Yet, it's fairly simple; our authors do not pay to publish. We do not apologise for that. This is a cut throat industry and we believe there is no room for vanity - instead our books make a real profit. Simultaneously, we reduce our risk of exposure to market conditions, which means our authors will be publishing for many years to come.

Authors have total control of their work and can remove it from our co-operative at any time. Equally, authors are free to sell their books through other publishers.

We think we offer better rates than the major publishers. A minimum retail price of £3.99, with 25% payment to the author.
